I have just ordered a UV marking pen but its still coming. The only way to check existing lures would be to have a UV light.

I'm going to UV pimp some hards and see how they go, it carnt hurt I reckon. Might even try some jig heads but until I get the pen I dont really know.

I have a UV pen and a small bottle of dip from "spike it".

Smaller hards and plastics can be dunked straight in the bottle, and the pen can be used for putting stripes, dots etc on hards.

It does need to be reapplied every so often depending on the usage of the lure, but I personally think the stuff is effective.

Some of my favourite off the shelf lures are produced with UV paint, and it's surprising when you run a UV light of your tackle trays and plastics, what actually reacts.

A cheap UV torch also helps when identifying what reacts and what doesn't.

BYS UV Nail polish works well, a few colours and a clear coat that's very bright under a black light. Cheap too! Have it on a few of my lures.

I bought some of that BYS stuff today for a play. When I said the name my girlfriend knew exactly where to go.

Thinking about painting some cheap vibes. They need the clear coat for paint protection anyway

Which one should I wear with a red shirt, and will brown shoes clash?
