Nitlon all the way for me. Mostly in 4lb, 6lb and 8lb.

On the racks I sometimes use PVDF instead as it's got the best abrasion resistance I've found, bloody expensive though

I use Yamatoyo Razor and Harisu Fighter I think it is called - both yamatoyo and apparently 100% flurocarbon, but I have also heard its imitation also.. so not sure.

Both seem to hold up really well for abrasion, probably some of the best Ive come across. Look forward to getting hold of the Nitlon and giving that a go.

I only wish we got the good stuff here that the US and Japanese get, I have seen some and it is second to none - comes in 50m spools for the japanese and 25m spools for the US so they have to buy more.

cheers

Grand Max I think - maybe under some other name, saw a mate using it and it had come straight from the Asian Distributor for anything decent fishing wise.

It wont be in Aus I doubt.

cheers

Really hey ....
I would have thought the jap stuff we get here would be up there ... but obviously not. I mean how much harder wearing can lets say 4lb 100% fluro carbon made by other manufacturer's be? Unless of course there is a compromise on thickness?

Can yah describe this stuff richo?
And when u meant breammaster has it ... u meant the yama stuff right and not grand max stuff ?

There is Razor fluoro, fluoro Rock fish ( high abrasion resistance ) and Harris fighter. These are all Yamatoyo lines. I heard it is 100% fluoro, fill me in some more please Richo. Richo will you stop teasing me about this Grand Max.

Im using 8lb seaguar and platil as i dont have anything lighter but will be getting 6lb soon for less snaggy areas.

Might look at nitlon or the razor next.

Have experimented with vanish and didnt get a good batch so i might try again soon
