looking for $300~$400 light baitcaster for bass

the title has it - I'm tempted by rods in the G. Loomis range, particularly the CR722c but this doesn't come in the new GLX. I don't know enough about all their new models to pick an alternative

Useage mainly to throw lures for bass on the south coast NSW rivers and dams. I'd likely also use it for Bream and EP just for fun.

Preferably something rated light or medium light, as I won't be throwing heavy lures with it, but not necessarily looking at a finesse rod.

Does anyone have a recommendation - from the Loomis range or otherwise?
