Im thinking there could be some variables here. Who knows how much pressure is being exerted in each instance. Having said that, its pretty clear SIC's are going to beat Alconites.

Couldn't really follow that either. It needs some text titles at least.

But from a wear effect that guides can potentially have on fishing line it certainly is enlightening.

I saw it first about a year ago on a different site, and the title said Alconite vs Silicone Carbide guides. No idea what site it was.

Alconites are good but sic (silicon infused carbide?) are better,meant to be stronger.
