best rods under $200

This is a similar survey to What rod are you using but i was wondering if people could give me more information on the rod ranges below $200

In mind the:

2 peice 6'8'' rack raider
diawa heartland IM6 6' 6"
squigdie spinning 7'
daiwa procastor spinning rod 6'
strudwick sicstic
but all g

all information like how tough they are, what the best length is,
how they cast light-medium weights (1-10grams), how they handle 'horses' (i'm hoping to catch a few LOL), what line class, value for money and similar information to this.

THis will really help my search for a new rod and all information is appreciated
cheers luke

The rods you mention are all pretty good value.

The Shimano Rack Raider is a pretty solid rod, but far from an all rounder. It handles (like the name says) bream around the oyster racks, when you need to get them out of there quick.

The squidgy spin is decent value, but is not a high modulas graphite rod, so it won't be as sensitive, or cast as far as other higher end rods.

I have not used the Struddies but have heard a few stories about them.........

I would recommend the Daiwa's for that sort of money, especially the V's and X's.
Very good for the money.

cheers

I rate the Daiwa's, the Shimano Stella and the SicStick as your best bet IMO.
