Winter Clothing

Hey guys,

What sort of winter gear do you wear when out yakking around this time of the year? It's clearly gotten a lot cooler over the past few weeks but at the same time i still want to get out there and fish.
I was looking at the SharkSkin Paddling Pants - has anyone got a pair of these? Or maybe the LavaCore pair? I've heard mix reviews and want as much feedback before i settle on something as most gear like this = $$$
http://www.sharkskin.com.au/catalogue/product.php/1/8

I recently bought a Columbia waterproof and thermal jacket which should be good for the top half.

So if you got any info or feedback on winter gear you use, please post up.

I have been using the solution splash pants with polyprop thermals for a couple years and for Perths relatively mild winter conditions they work well and are also comfortable up to say 26/27 degrees.
If I was spending more time in colder waters I would seriously consider the Kokotat paddling pants that have enclosed feet.
I was fishing with a guy in the Albany ABT round who had them and he was snug and warm whereas my feet where freezing and water had got past the latex leg seals when I had to jump into the water (2ft deep) to sort out a lure snagged on the bow of my yak and then was cold for the rest of the day...

Merino baselayer, thick socks, neoprene waders with belt, jumper and / or waterproof coat and PFD. Beanie, and if really cold scarf and gloves.
