Hello

Hi everyone this looks like a top spot.

I don't get out much these days, but I've been bass fishing since the 1970s. First strike was on a Flopy, first bass on a Mud Bug, up in the Noosa River.
Bass were really hard to find back then. I used to love bashing through the scrub in search of a likely pool.

I've only caught a handful of bream on lures - maybe 8 in all - but I'd like to get into it too. I'm no expert, and I have a lot to learn about it.

Cheers

Mike

Welcome mate, I'm sure you will enjoy the site. Plenty of very helpful members on here. The good old flopy still goes alright on bass

Cheers, Mick. Very kind of you.

Thanks again everyone for the warm welcome. Hopefully this rain will clear off soon so we can all get out fishing.
