Luvias DA (new one)

looking at getting a new 3000 size reel to use for plastic on snapper.
Interested in the luvias but wondering if any one has put some strain on the zion body to see how it performs.
Im sure the smaller sizes would be perfect for bream etc. But a bit aprehensive about using one on snapper

2000 tierra is the same weight as the 2500 certate jakel.

I think every reel has "bad things" about it mate.

Ive said it before, Im not bias against gear, nor do I exaggerate about how good gear is, but the new certate has to be the single best thing ever created on the face of this planet and is completely flawless

Jokes aside, what bad things have you heard about them???

only gripe we have had with the new certates is lumpy drag when fishing heavy drag settings. had one reel completely destroyed but 30lb. bionic pushed to the max on a meter plus kingy will do bad things to most reels.

worth every cent in my books

Like all new products there are likely to be minor issues with the new Certate, but with time I suspect it will have the same reputation as the old. If you're concerned, then why not try a Stella FD 4000 ... with the release of the FE, they're becoming very affordable ...

mine are faultless thus far....

love people who readily bag gear without ever experiencing it first hand....

this site angers me sometimes...

if people know of a better reel manufactured for a rrrp under $500 please stand up....

yeah mate ignore them, I have flogged my 3000 on everything from bream, big tailor, tuna, snapper to 10kg sambos and still gets me a decent feed of squid.
Treat her right and you will not have any problems with it. I have absolutely punished it and it still feels super smooth

Certates are nice though, but dont go splurge out again when its not necessary
