Hydrofoils?
Hey guys,
What do these things do too your boat? In the comp on the weekend I was following boats and going through peoples wakes and I found that my boat got fairly unstable. What I mean is as I was going through or over the wake the boat felt like it was going to tip. Would hydrofoils fix this or is there another problem? I have a 4m stessle with a 30HP 2stroke with full decking. Any help would be great? Cheers Tim

They might get you on the plane quicker and possibly help reduce cavitation but apart from that they dont do much and wont improve stability. The only thing that will help is changing the way you go through wakes. If your referring to the ski area and all the water movement then you cant help it up there, its got too many boats going in all directions. Sad to say but the little tinnys copped a bit of a flogging from what I saw.
