transducer mouting on kota

im picking up a sounder for my electric and was wondering were to position the transducer if any one has an idea or even a pic to show me it would be very helpful cheers brad

You can actually get straps to fit them to the bottom of the electric. Get in touch with your BLA supplier and asl them about it.

Our garmin came with a leccy mount. All it is is a curved plastic mount and a large zip tie. I know minn kota sell them.

hmmm was thinking is it possible to put the transducer on the shaft of the kota reason why im asking is because my moter gets knocked around abit while fishing the banks does anyone have a pic they could share with me? i just dont want to spend money if its not worth the troubles.

it sits above the steg in front of the prop where it wond get hut unless the engine is really bashed into rocks or sand which will damage the rest of the engine.

Rumour is that the new Kotas will come with the transducer mounter in the head of the Kota. That will be interesting to see and test.

Hi, I put my a hummingbird transducer on with a hose clamp, worked a treat till I hit a rock with it...transducers and rocks no good
