Wiggle fins are supplied by shipton trading:
http://www.shiptontrading.com.au/index.asp There is a retail list here: http://www.shiptontrading.com.au/retail_outlets.asp You should be able to get your local shop to get them in. eddy |

Hi mate good to see more people showing interest in these awesome little things.
Wiggle fin disks are a small almost cone shaped disk that is threaded onto your mainline or leader to give your baits and lures a wicked wiggle. They come in two sizes and a few different colours. Clear is the main one that people like to use though. There really popular with bait fisherman that thread weightless pillies onto hooks with the disks in front. They make your baits look so much like a distressed or dying fish wiggling across the surface/sub surface or even bottom depending on how much weight you use. Eddystone gave you a list of the retailers and there’s also more info in the first link. If you have a search through the forums there’s a thread with a few pictures to show how effective they are on Bream ![]() Good luck with them to! If you need anymore help just give us a yell. cheers, Nathan

Hi Pete I use them on my plastics. Just not all the time with Bream because they can get spooked easier than some other fish.
I've used them on HB's so that I turn them into a surface lure. The HB doesn’t get the wiggle you would from a SP but I’m only use them so they spray the water about. The disk sprays out water exactly like a popper does. You can use what ever HB you like but the disks work better with a shallow diving HB. I also use them with the Floating Jig Heads from Shipton Trading and rig on an Eye Ball Tail or a Bass Minnow or what ever you want. They have the same effect as a popper and work AWESOME over Oyster racks, thick weed beds, really shallow reef. Cheers, Nathan

I was just thinking about the wiggle fin disc yesterday and toying with the idea of making some sort of system for SPs that make them suspend instead of sinking with jigheads and floating with the floating jigheads.
Perhaps suspending jigheads may be a little impossible but if I could really slow down the sink rate it would be ideal. I was thinking of using these wigglefin disc as part of that delivery system. Anyone tried anything like that yet? |

Chung I cut down the floating Jig heads so that they can sink really, really slowly. If you cut them right you can make them suspend, sink or what ever. To get them to sink you need a heavy plastic though.

I rigged a bass minnow on a weedless hook, then put the wiggle disc and a small bullet weight in front (half a barrel sinker
) in front - looked wicked, as it sinks, the sinker runs back down the line from the lure, then the plastic follows it - 'wigglin' all the way' !!

A disapointment
Guys, me and luke h bought some wiggle disks on fri, and luke gave em a try with 3' bass minnows. We found that the disk gave little action only when retreived at very high speeds. CAn u guys give any reason for this?

This should clear it up
![]() The faster you go the tighter the wiggle will be. The slower you go the wider the wiggle will be. cheers, Nathan
