5.3 Trailcraft Profish Electric Fit out
Hi guys I'm after some advice. I've got a 5.3m profish and I would like to fit an electric to the front for my bream fishing. Now here is the problem. I live in Nowra NSW so I don't see to many like mine over here little own with a electric on the front. As these boats are built in WA I'm hoping for some insider info. Now I know of a 5m profish with a 65lb minn kota with a 54" shaft length that does the job nicely. This is what I will most likely be going with.
Now does anyone no if the dead rise in the bow is greater on the 5.3 than the 5m version? By this I mean does the 5.3m bow sit higher out of the water than the 5.0m bow. Cheers Nick

if i was you i would take it to your local dealer . but before you go mesure the distance from the water to the top of the front of the boat.make sure your weight is on the front while you mesure, then speak to your dealer, i would personaly go a cable steer 74pd ,minnkota

Well I've done it. I've put RT65AP 54" on my Trailcraft Profish. So if anyone is thinking of doing the same or have ever wondered if one would reach the water now you know.
