Get hold of some Squidgy finesse jig heads 1gm, push them into some playdoh to mould the shape, cut off the lead & put them back in the mould, mix some 2 part epoxy glue & pour it where the lead was. After it sets sand it back to the right shape. Used with flick baits & fished very slowly they are deadly, but lock your drag & hang on. Also liked using TT hidden weight jig heads the same way. I have heard the Squidgy resin heads will come out in a couple of months.

A few of the guys like bushy, slick, etc., are making the resin head themself at the moment, but it will come out later this year I believe...

You can use the method that Tymo suggested to make them, I'm experimenting with Polyurethane resin at the moment.....

But the TT HWS and Resin head works great with stick baits and other kind of sp's.........they produce different action though.....

bream addict,
I've got alot of different brands of jig heads in my bag from all over the place, in saying that i dont know which pack they came from since they are in my small jig head box, and i dont have a brand new pack with a label so their for dont know what brand they are, . makes sense to me,

it's quite easy to understand that i said i didn't know what brand they are, dont start a Sh,,it fight over nothing.

get the point.

cheers

I had a go of the Squidgie Resin Heads at the Clyde ABT, I was quite impressed with them. They give a whole new action to bass minnows and the fish were quick to shoot out and check them out (although the legal sized Clyde bream are too bloody fussy to hit anything).

They're the exact same shape as the Finesse heads but are on the ball head hooks, which is a shame as they won't be suitable for tight country fishing where locked drags are needed.

Glenn, EJ Todd make a good 1/64 head which is ideal for 1" Craws and Nymphs. They're hard to source though.
