I'm hanging out for my local tackle shop to get some in, should be any day now
I'm particularly interested in the kingbolt as I like longer style rods. Can't wait till they arrive so I can put a dent in the finances

Do you have any experience with the kingbolt? I'm keen to know if it would suit flicking small hard bodies around like the SX40's & 48's

I would suggest a luvias, certate or TD-A or even a TD-Z. Go a 1500 size.

Hey Niz,
Just wondering the reason behind a battler purchase...... just after new toys? Or does the segake you own lack something ... ? |

I don't think it is suited to throwing hard bodies around though, so I'm shopping for another rod. Plus I like the looks of the handle setup on the kingbolt.

I went in to buy a Kingbolt and a Sparrow last week but changed my mind when I had another play with them. IMO the Saegake has a better feel to it (and looks much better), so I bought 2 Saegakes and 2 Certates instead.

And how many Seagake's have you got left after this weekend Swoff
![]() Those Seagakes rock. Ill definitely be getting one of them for my next rod purchase. I love the Battlers also but I dont like the length in the butt section. It would be nice if we could get one with a much shorter butt. cheers, Nathan

I see you made it home OK Nath.
I dropped the "faulty" Saegake in yesterday and should have the replacement today.

LoL yeah that trip back was a killer though
I’m definitely flying up to the Hawkesbury round. Bugger sitting in a car for 14 more hours So what was the excuse for the "faulty" tip ![]() cheers, Nathan

I get them at a store in Sydney but I can't mention it here.
For bream I only have a few Saegakes, I also have an HL-Z Plug Sniper b'cast rod but I don't recommend it. I got Certate 1500's last week, previously I've been running Luvias 1500's. I'll be getting some more Certates soon but 2000's instead as the 1500 Certate is smaller than my 1500 Luvias's.
