Surface Fizzers

Yesturday I bought a Bag of Dowle Plugs and chucked them in the lathe so I can drill a nice straight hole. Ill take some pics of the progress tonight to show you guys..

Quick Question for the guys\Gals that have made these

DO you use some metal trace or something to attatch the hook or hooks and to create the loop to tie you line on?? Or do you thread your main line through the fizzer and tie a hook directory onto this??
