Victoria Point, Brisbane - this Saturday

Just in case there are any other Brisbane kayak fishing guys out there........we are meeting at Victoria Point at 6:00 AM, Saturday 20 November. Probably near the main boat ramp near the Coochie ferry "terminal". The plan is to paddle over to Coochie - weather permitting. There are about 7 guys keen so far.
Nick

Hi Nick,

As I was planning a circumnavigation of the island does that mean there will be you and five others to tow me back ?

Regards,

Ross

Hi Guys.

By this time next week, i'll be residing in QLD. I am very keen to get out and wet a line so hopefully we can catch up in the not too distant future.

Any reports of yesterdays outing? Ill check Tony's site and see the latest updates.

See you soon.

Gerard.

Coochie yesterday

It was a great day - not spectacular fishing, but good fun nevertheless. We had 7 kayaks together - arriving from 5:30 and setting off around 6:00. We took a slow paddle around the island, stopping to fish along the way - and trolling as we went. Very relaxing and good to get everybody together and chat as we pottered along. Fishing was pretty ordinary - speaking for myself - one grinner and one pike. Weather was perfect though - very little wind. We were back just after 11:00 - feeling a little weary today! Ross took some pics on the water - I am sure Tony will post them on his web site - with his observations. I am looking forward to getting out again. Being out on the water early in the morning is always a pleasure for me - and if I can catch a fish or two, that's a bonus. As Tony said, "Bring on the spotties"!
