Talking A Drink to Walpole and Madfish

JP and I have just got back from Walpole, what a magic weekend after a less than brilliant trip to get there.

We just cracked a bottle of MadFish to celebrate Walpole, the comp and Madfish.

We went out again this morning and even Matilde-Rose managed a 38cm bream on a hard body. Watch out all of you when she hits 16.

Cheers

Mim

Here is my daughter, Matilde-Rose, with her bream caught in the Franklin during our pre-fish on Thursday

And this one is taken at Coalmine, Tildy is trying to keep the smoke out of her eyes from the BBQ. Notice JP is looking rather wet. This was after the comp and he has dry clothes on finally, but still trying to drain some of the water that had sunk in to the rest of him

LOL

Coalmine was a great place to stay. The park was very well maintained and the chalets we stayed in wre the best I've seen in the state. No kidding.

Here's another one of POM's fish.

Not real fair on you guys

Hey guys,

Just thought I would let you know that I did not think it was real fair of the park to not let you have a late check out.

We checked the cabins last night and again this morning and there was no one in them. We thought that was a bit rough considering how much you all spent there.

That doesn't impress me one bit. Eve and Ira's wife had to muck around to get us all out for nothing by the sounds of it.

Thanks Mim, and well done on your first fish in the series. Loved the smile.

I'm going to add my 2 cents worth to that as well and put up 3 cheers for Mrs Bear.

What a super lady, not only puts up with Sean full time but just for the hell of it looked after me, Geoff P, Richo and john Jones for 5 days as well.

And I've got to say that facing up to 5 smelly fisherman every day and still keeping a smile on takes a very special person indeed.

Onya Mrs Bear!!!

Yep, well said Craig.

Thanks Ms Bear for putting up with us varmits for the week. You outdid yourself. And to Mrs Pom for washing our dishes also. Thanks....

And well done Matilda Rose, nice fish, and with all that swear money you got out of BreamMaster and the others, you could nearly buy a whole new combo....

cheers

richo

Thnaks for the kind words guys. Eve is very flattered. I'm pretty lucky as she puts up with the hours I keep and the amount of fishing I do.

She really enjoyed the weekend and seeing all the guys together.

Thumbs up You got a real Gem there mate

I only wish my Mrs would be as brave as Eve, she was a lovely balance in the Bear Pit (no pun intended) and kept us all on our best behaviour.
I had a ball living with you guys and hope there is a spot for me next time.
Geoff
