Inflatable Kayak/Canoes

What could i get for around $500 maybe a lil bit more if i beg.
I want it to be a one man canoe or kayak and be good to fish from with all the storage i need and maybe one of those nets to hold down a few plano boxes.
Also dont want it popping any time soon. Does any one have any suggestions on what i should be looking at for that price or and second hand ones any one is interested in selling?

Dagga, I don't think it's realy neccesary to buy a $500. kayak for one person! Just look inside the melbourne trading post for CANADIAN canoo's and most of them will be under $300.
Dagga, these have alot more storage space and can maintain two or three people!

Besides the possible puncture problem, inflatables are a hassle cause you have to inflate them and deflate them each time, which takes up valuable fishing time. Of course you can transport them inflated but then you might as well get a normal canoe.

you can get a very small yak 400 about i think its a bass it ways about ten kilos not a lot of room but with rod holders and putting some cargo straps it would be ok i got somthing a bit bigger so i can use it in the surf.

Dave have a look in the ''Bream Bible'' theres a picture of a kid in a small covered over yak fishing for Bass, for the type of fishing you do that would be great.

My Yak is Canadian style, allthough its not a true fishing yak its got heaps of room and is very stable. Only down side to mine is the weight.

I have a Sevylor inflatable for sale if you are interested. It is a one -man (woman) model that may suit your requirements. Beauty of it is that it comes with a very tough outer cover and all the nets to hold things that you could want.......also when deflated packs down very small.

i need a inflatable mate cos i dont have roof racks and my folks dont want holes in there roof or me to scratch there pain cos i fel better using a inflatable.

Hey Dave you dont need to go putting holes in your roof!

Just get a set of the cradle style ones that I have. I even think i have a spare set sitting in the shed.

The beauty of these craddle style racks is that there easy to take off and put on.

Yer but they must dig into something on the roof or side of the car unless its got suction caps on the bottem........
