i just received my inspira 20 in the mail yesterday. they retail around 170-190 in stores etc. I got it for 89 dollars on Ebay with 12 $ postage. The guy is selling Another inspira 20 on ebay under the username: Reelfactory, but hes put the price to $99. I have not been able to use my inspira 20 for fishing yet, since i just got it yesterday, but this sunday i will test it out. But its very smooth, good strong deisgn. i like it alot, and i dont think you can go wrong if you get it for 99 buks off ebay. |

Inspira`s are weighty, and Ive got the 15 - I use my avenger before the Inspira these days, Id look at the reels reccommended by Swoffa, in your range and great quality......

As Richo said Inspira's are weighty for their size. If you are thinking of buying one I would suggest going to a tackle store and wave one around on your rod. No point being disappointed after buying when you can try first.

Definitely suggest the Daiwa Capricorn 1500. Its around the league of the stradic but has an awesome air bail system that rocks with fireline. Noother brand of reel have this. Spare spool, good looks and a five year warranty. Around the $250 mark and on sale at the online shop.
I have an okuma EFS 20 and its a nice reel but I don't agree with the drive systems of the okumas and have just got it back from the factory after needing replacement teeth on the handle drive system. For the price they are fine but look at the capricorns seriously. Eddystone will agree with me here... maybe... if he is awake... not sure... |

which reel?
i own three FH stradics, a 1000, 2500, and 4000. i've had no problems whatsoever and can highly recommend them. like phism said, buy one for 230 from breammaster...
the capricorn would be worth looking at aswell, but i haven't used one so i can't comment on their performance.

Go the Cappies!
I would say that the Stradic 1000 and Capricorn 1500 would be best for a reel around that mark. I wouldnt say the Capricorn isnt up to the standards of the Stradics, its in the same league, if not even higher.
Thew Capricorn is a bloody beautifull reel to use!, its super smooth (after you break it in) has a very nice, micro adjustable drag setting and looks sexy. The Cappy is built like fort nocks and with the strong bail arm you cant go wrong for any of those tough Bream. I can ramble on about the Cappy for ages but i wont ill just say that if i had to choose between the two reels for pure cosmetic reasons i would go the Stradic. If it was for durability, performance and smoothness i would go the Capricorn. The Sradic is a very nice reel also. It looks great, feels great and is nice and light. i havnt fished with one before but i have hend them and played around with them and was suprised at how smooth they are for the price. I like its small profile and how it weighs next to nothing. Thats my two cents worth. I'm with everyone else here though. Take your rod into the tackle shop and find out what reel feels best for you. chears, Nathan
