I really want to give HBs a good try but the selection i have dosnt get down to the depth that i fish. Can any one suggest any Hard Bodies that dive reasonably deep?

Hi,
It depends on how deep you want them to go. 3 metres is about the limit for bream sized lures and there's not many that will get that. As Richo suggested, the Taylor Made Tiny Nuggets (Deep) might be worth a shot. Deception make the Nipper (Deep) which might also be worth a look. Lively Lures Micro Mullet would be my choice, dives a tad over 2 metres and has proven bream credentials (but then so do the others). Cheers, Rigzz |

David, have you tried lively lures miny micro mullets yet? They are a bouyant lure on first cast but once you cranck em down, they stay down!
I would buy some predatek min mins but I personally think they look better as a trout, redfin lure, but I have seen some great images of bream freaks baggin out on min mins!

tilsan
ive caught a 35 cm black bream in the collie on a tilsan minnow, they are deep, and so are the 52 deep, they are good, river to sea shed also, get an oargee in BR, not very deep but it doesnt seem to matter..... they swim up to it...

I've been buying a few of the smaller Bass lures that very deep diving. try the Knol's, Orgee wee pees, Viper Bass, Tilsan Bass (as other have said), Rapala shad raps.
I don't know what you will find down your way, But there is a lot of stuff around here (Newcastle) If you really get stuck, I can probably find a bit of local gear for you. PM me if you want.

One that is very under-rated is the Storm Hot 'n Tot. Deep diver and a very different action. Great on Bream.
