Skinnypop techniques?

Hey guys,

I've purchased a couple of skinnypop Jr's and tried one the other day. I'll admit I didn't give it much of a chance because I wasn't overly sure of my technique.

Obviously whiting, bream, flatty's all love these lures but do you use different techniques to target a specific species??

I found with quite a fast retrieve I would get a "blooping" type sound as it passed throught the water. If I slowed it down a bit - but still fast, it wouldn't make the bloop noise but just had a constant splash of water from the front.

Would love to hear how people fish these lures with success!!

You can 'walk the dog' with them too.

I only used it as popper for whiting. Didn't bother walking dog with them at all.
