I mainly throw a bibless shallow CRANKA minnow or OSP bents.

Don't discount surface plastics either

I've caught heaps on Smith Towadi's, but my favourite would have to be OSP Bent Minnows in the 76mm size.

Check out the new Megabass Flying X. They have just been released and have the best skipping Jelly Prawn action. They outfished walk the dog style actions big time in our first use on the weekend. If the bream misses a hookup on retreive you stop the wind, they sink ever so slowly which was provoking a strike. Very impressed. We were using Atomic Assist hooks on the rear.
If your after walk the dog style action, Bassday Sugarpens, Atomic K9 Walkers and Megabass Dog X Junior won't let you down.
