Suspending lure question

Assuming I'm fishing in 5 feet of water and want to use a suspending lure. What depth should the lure be at to be the most effective?

Depends where fish are!
If you they sitting hard in bottom use deep diver
If they close to top use shallow diver

Hope this helps

What he said^ but mostly I'd say in 5ft of water you want to be at 4-4.5ft. Bream TEND to be hard on the bottom and you want to put it right in front of it's face.

Bounce whatever lure you use off the bottom then it should suspend where you need it to be and disturb the bottom at the same time. Regards, HBt.
