which model? EX or SH? I have both and both pretty good reels, both have ball bearing drags which are smooth. even the older SH with oilseal has done well over 3 full tournament seasons. never needed a service. The newer EX are hood reels.

Was looking at the EX. Looked at one in the shop very nice but no bearing in the line roller.
What about the Caldia SHA, look like they might be the next level up in quality.

yeah my 2000 sha is prob my fav plastics reel to be honest. the high speed suits the plastics work that i do. it has pretty much same specs as the ex, pretty good reels
