Yo zuri

Hi everyone, just watching lots of Ifish and Paul always has a yo zuri lure. Just wondering has anyone tried one of their 3DB mid crank lures? They look really good, might get one in the prism crawfish colour.

Thanks,
Lachie

Hi Lachie,
There is nothing wrong with experimenting with lures. That's the beauty of this sport - you can use whatever you want and spend as much as you can on lures in trying to find the "ultimate" one.

Some people look up at TV personalities and gun fishermen in the magazines and use whatever they are using. Some ask their mates what works for them and use the same, some browse Bream Master and check out the photos of the trophy fish and what lures are sticking from the fish's mouth and use similar / the same.
Yo Zuri are a very well known lure manufacturer that produce a quality product and maybe this is why PW is using them. However I would bet that he's using 3DB crank because he / his show is sponsored by Yo zuri and this is what Paul is promoting. He also uses Fins braid almost exclusively and promotes it heavily on his shows. Nothing wrong with that.
However, not many bream fishos are using Yo zuri lures to catch bream and even less fishos are using Fins braid on their bream outfits.
There are many other lures that are much better and more successful in bream fishing.
I am not sure what fish you are targeting. But if it is bream, just do a search here and you'll find a lot more lure options than Yo zuri.

In saying that, I would also like to hear from anyone using Yo zuri cranks for bream and their success stories.
Cheers

Gday Alex,
What your saying makes sense, I guess that I do look up to PW lol I got the 4lb fins braid running on my outfit. I have a zipbait khamsin tiny in the Carmen red colour because I have been scanning a few different sites and my local spots and people seem to use them heaps.
I have also been looking into a few pontoon 21 lures because they seem to be popular on here.
Also what is your go to bream lure?
Thanks for the help,
Lachie

Depending on the area I fish, but in general, you can't go wrong with Ecogear SX40, Pontoon 21 Crack Jack 38mm in deep and mid-they cast a mile, Strike Pro Archback (for shallow areas), Jackall Chubby in deep, Cranka shads and Crabs.

If you like cranking for bream, then it would be Atomic and Cranka cranks, Smith Camions, Megabass Baby Griffon, etc.

Cheers

Cant say that i look up to pw simply because he is a complete and utter tool, however, i did use fins braid for a few years

That ended the day i got into japanese super lines, i did land some decent queenies and trevally on the fins though, even the four lb, when i lived darwin (which was up til today lol)

Ditch the fins is my two cents, espscially with light bream gear, theres so much better out there.

Anyway, You dont want your wife giving you that sad, kristy worsteling cant believe i married you smile everytime you go fishing and carry on lol
