Hurricane Fatty Jnr
Received a couple of Fatty Jnr's with my order of Twitches last week .
I fished a two day comp on the Gold Coast over the weekend and tied a Fatty Jnr in the Wizard colour , what an excellent lure . The action was great , it will be one of my go to lures from now on . Sadly I did loose it , but not before catching a 40cm cracker of a fish . Then tied on the only one I had left , but in a Wasp Smig colour , just as good . I caught over 30 legal for the two day comp and all were caught with the fatty jnr . Finished 15th at the end of day 1 with 5 fish for 2.4kg and day 2 with 5 fish for 3.44kg . Ended up with 10 fish for 5.84kg , finished in 8th position . Excellent job guy's on this lure , love it. I will be placing an order for more of these at the end of next week . Cheers Scott |

That's sensational news
![]() Thanks for the great feedback on the Fatty Jnr Well done on your Top 10 finish excellent P.S Love your boat as well Ive Just purchased a Old Haines 455F last week as a Project, Best Hull in that size ever made IMO, Im pretty sure yours is same Hull. Can you please tell me how the Yamaha 70 performs on that Hull. Ive been debating which Outboard to use, I was in Favor of the New Yamy 70hp 4 Stroke But wasn't sure if powerful enough etc. Cheers Nordy

Hi mate,
The 70hp 4 stroke Yamaha is what is on this boat . I would recommend using a 80hp Yamaha instead of the 70, because the 70 is only a 1ltr and the 80 is a 1.5ltr engine ( have been told the only difference between the 80 and 100 hp is an air restrictor ) . In saying that the 70 pushes the boat about 26 to 30 knts depending if there are two people , how much gear and if the live well is full ( my live well is 100ltr ) . The trolling motor bracket should fit your boat , so if you want one , we sell them for about $600 plus postage . ( it will take an I pilot or a cable steer ) The centre console is about $500 The rear casting platform with live well is about $1200 If I can help in any other way , Please let me know .
