Hunts marine will fix the problem. They will send it to BLA but. I had a issue with water getting into the head component. Within two weeks i had it back all fixed up. Just to add to that i bought my minn kota from hunts marine. Give them a call I'm sure they will help. Ask for Mark.

I had a similar problem with rabbit mode that was related to an undersized circuit breaker.

Sounds like a load problem maybe a doggy electrical connection or the motor cutting out under load maybe due to something stuck around under the prop have you checked for fishing line stuck behind prop
If the motor was stuffed it would go at all and if the mother board was stuffed then wouldn't work at all
On another note have you caught any more of those monster by catch bream I still remember that monster you got from the harbour a few years ago 49 fork if I remmeber any chance of posting that pic up again

Hey jayojay thanks for the advice ill be stripping her down this weekend take a good look
was going from 1/2 to 5 then cutting out tho prop was turning at the
same slow rate ...steering was a bit sluggish but at times was ok...
spot lock didn't hold for more then a minute. It's still as new
just out of warranty unfortunately im thinking it may be a water issue
had her out in a bit of rain chasin jew but didn't think it was enough
to effect the motor...they don't build things to last these days just like mobile phones lol
Have caught a few big bream mate as bycatch to jew taking 7 inch plastics ...if I find the pic again ill send it should be in the computer at home.
