Lowrance Elite-4x

My last Item to get for my Yak.. next week before round #2 so any input would be Awesome.

I have never had or used a Lowrance fish finder before what do you guys use I wonder on your Yaks for rivers comps.
I really want one that has a very wide angle degree as I am not worry what is under my Yak but what is around side to side.

PS: my punt fish finder Hummingbird 561.sonar has dual beam 60 degree

I had the elite 4x and whilst it was a good sounder, it has nothing on the Elite 4x CHIRP.
It has a clearer picture then the 4x thanks to the CHIRP technology and down scan imaging and retails I think for $229.00 so not a real big hole in the hip pocket.

Went to BFC in Kelmscot on the way down from Brookton.
The Chirp are $529 so I walk out with a hand full of Savage Crabs and headed down Mandurah 2 pre Fish.

Lowrance HDS-7 with structure Scan?

Hey Guys,

I have this new unit on my yak and I'm not sure it is working correctly.
Does anyone else have this unit? Would love to have someone take a look at it on the water and willing to pay for help.

Thanks,

Brian
