Accurate TwinSpin SR 6

Anyone fished or owned one of these?

Looks rock solid and way cool.

Will have to wait and see what Alan Hawk thought of it.

Had the SR12 for about a year and it was a solid reel with "huge" drag capacity - found that the drag was designed to be used hard and obtaining close to free spool was not really possible.
The only other negative was the combined drag adjustment and spool retaining knob (the SR6 in your pic has the same design). I found that adjusting the drag, particularly when fighting a fish, can result in the spool retaining knob loosening at the same time - This causes the spool to become loose on the shaft, causing problems.

Overall a very solid and smooth reel, with the exception of the negatives above, performs very well. I ended up selling on the reel due to the combined spool and drag retaining knob design and purchased another Saltiga Z series.

Thanks heaps mate. I'm planning on buying a high end jig and pop kit with the one reel with 2 rods.

Got the rods now it looks like the expedition is the go. Hope the 5500H is big enough.
