Rarenium has 5.1 gear ratio
Luvias has 4.8 gear ratio But the luvias has a slightly larger spool diameter for longer casting plus the luvias has the typical "V" shape line lay which eliminates almost all casting tangles if you do not overload the spool. But i own both ... i manually load my 1000 shimanos in the daiwa style line lay shape and i dont get tangles . I went back to daiwa td sensor on most of my reels now because it may be a tiny bit thicker than other braids but that extra thickness gives way better knot strength and it outlasts most other braids easy.

I love both of them , but
Rarenium - came with round knob Daiwa - paid $45 for round knob Rarenium has a more precise anti reverse but you yourself would never notice a difference. Daiwa is machined with finer tolerances in general play Daiwa has better line lay out of the box without having to manually load it perfect by hand and a drill etc Rarenium stayed smoother for longer ... Its all equal really ..... For yourself - maybe a daiwa as it has good line lay straight up and the larger spool diameter for longer casts even tho both basically hold the same amount of line .
