New combo.

Hey guys,
Im looking at getting a new Combo around 3-5kg with a 3000 preferably Shimano reel. Ill be using it in rivers for chasing jacks and also outside for Snapper etc. My budget is around the $400/$500 mark. If anyone has any suggestions i'd love to hear them.
