Options for broken handle??

Hi guys,

ive snapped the handle on my old daiwa 2506 white caldia. Can anyone recommend a solution? Ive priced a new rcs handle for about 120 but was looking at a cheaper option if the is obe. Thanks

I dont thing the rcs handle will fit the white caldia reels if your
thinking off the one piece handles.

It may be cheaper buying a original handle from daiwa new than
the rcs one any way. The daiwa sol reel looks it has the same handle type.

Do you have a local tackle store that you frequent?? if so go and see them they usually have old reels and bits and pieces out the back lying around just maybe there is a handle that will fit your Caldia?

What sort of handle is it jules? Can you chuck up a photo?

Here is a pic to show handle.

Daiwa wanted $90 + delivery for a replacement one (2500 model left only). Id rather put the money into a new reel.

the handle is held in by a screw in the cap on opposite side of the body, unlike certates/steez etc. which screw into body of reel

man, $90 is exy for a handle ...... maybe put up a WTB for any old 250x reel and take the handle off that.

Jules, I have a spare handle off an Airity 2000, not sure if the centre shaft is long enough for 2506. Measure your centre shaft & PM me.

Cheers guys here is a photo. Ill take a measure ment asap Ratbags. On second observation it's just the pin that is broken where it joins.
