Emma or luvi?

Heres one up for debate..
What would you prefer and why, the old model emaraldes (white one) or a current model luvias 2506? If you feel im comparing apples and oranges feel free to say so ( provide a justification) but given both are same size reels i thought it a valid comparison.

Cheers
J

If both were new and the same price probably the emma, for the looks and hyper digi gear but if the emma was say $350plus and the luvias is $250 might be the other way around.

I am selling my emma (white one) for $260 with 12lb Emeraldas Braid. It's in excellent condition. PM me if you would like to see pics

I like to pull my reels down and service them, so this coupled with the hyper digigear puts the Emma in front for me. As mentioned money is always a factor, and a luvias from Japan is bloody good value. Especially since our dollar has held up against the yen.
Don't think you'd lose either way.
I sold my white Emma and wish I still had it. Put a 2508 or 2500 spool on these and that makes them a very light and versitile reel, i guess the luvias is in the same boat there.
I've still got a 2508 colossal and would never get rid of that.
