Talking Boat n Easy

Well, I've struggled for years on what to get that I could put on top of the camping trailer. Bit the bullet and bought the 4.1 Barra Topper from Boat n Easy. something a little different. Now to add the extras and get her on the water.

About $6000 as you see it delivered Szarn, including a bimini.

Oli, the bare 4.1 is 90kg, but I've had a bit added to mine as my trailer can take up to 300kg. The boat is fully welded rather than riveted so it can take being the trailer as well.

hey bear nice big little rig.

just wondering about the trailer - wheels setup, so it would now have to be rego as a trailer and display a number plate ????

other question i have is how do you go sealing it up once the wheels are off ????

what size motor is it rated for ?????

looking forward to seeign the fitout pics as well.

Boat is rated to take 70kg or 30hp.

Holes just have ta bung one the bolts are out.

Yes, it needs to be registered as a boat and trailer. I'm going to make a bracket up so I can mount and light the plate.

ok cool cool so just take it to the weight bridge 1st time anbd get like a box trailer rego, 30hp nice will make it a good little cruiser, i thought about the wheel hole but wasnt sure if they gave u something to fully seal it up etc with it, i am guessing its in to water line while sitting even in the water, i like the setup of it and would make it soo much easier when holidaying with the camper trailer etc, good job mate

Nice stuff Bear, it is different, but looks good, and the purpose is there. Cool as.
Do the wheels have their own independant suspension?
Is this something you'd tow over long distances, or is it's purpose to be topped on the camper, then you can tow it to the water entry point at your holiday destination ect?

Ned, the reason I bought it was that I could do both. It is rated to 110km and tracked fine on the highway. I wanted a boat that could do both, not be stuck with it on the camping trailer.

That's cool Bear, I like it. Didn't know there was anything like that out there, but then again, it's an idea that couldn't go any longer uninvented I guess. Have fun with it mate.

Hey Brad, to get the boat I wanted we ended up not getting a camper and going with modifying a tradesman trailer. Gave up on trying to get a manufacturer to work with me on getting what I wanted. Beauty with this is that I don't need to unload the boat to camp and it will take the weight of a good size 4.1 tinny. I'll wack up a few pics of the trailer when I get home tonight.
