Just had two spools of YGK G-soul X8 arrive yesterday (PE1 - 22lb and PE1.5 - 30lb) and have spooled up but not fished yet. Looks good but the proof is in how it performs on the water.
Will follow up once I have tried them out.

I have used the green soul x8 pe 1 a few times now, it's great, smooth and softens up a bit after use which is good,
I just ordered a 200m roll of pe 0.6 jig man 14lb, it's a 4 colour line.

Have given this line a run today and have found no issue with it. Soft, supple and strong (given the PE to breaking strain ratio), runs through the guides easily with minimal noise under load when fighting fish. Was able to use lighter jigheads, feel the bottom and the action on the terminal end better than the Super PE2 Sunline that I used to run.
Landed 2 decent pink snapper today (63 and 76cm), along with a number of smaller 30 - 50 cm models, on the Chilli Dog and Branzino 3000 running the YGK G-soul X8 PE 1.5 and the line performed very well IMO.

I will be purchasing more of this line, given the competitive pricing and value for money.

I've been using YGK Galais PE (jig man and WX8) lines for the last 3 years on all my Stellas - can't fault the line. They're well priced in Japan I pay around $105 for the WX8 and $150 for the Jigman WX8 when I buy local.

Quick short story. Went on a charter recently, was tired and took a nap, left my rod/ line in while I took a small nap, anyways the line snagged. Everyone tried to pull it off the bottom and failed. Eventually woke up, all friends told me about the snag, so I set the drag to full lock, after lots of very hard yanks It came loose.

The hook snapped! I was so happy the line/knot held its strength I was using 120LB leader/ FG knot to the braid (79lb YGK Ultra Jigman) on my 10k Stella.
