Tuned prop

Hi all

After reading a few posts most people say, I you want more power and better performance , get a tuned prop.

So is that what I ask for ? Or does it depend on motor size , I have a 2008 25hp mercury 2 stroke which needs just that little bit more go, so what do I need

Cheers
Andy

You can upgrade that engine to a 30hp for less than $20

after that then go up a pitch and go stainless and should be pretty quick, that what i had done on my last boat which had the same motor, add a set of boysen reeds that really smooths the engine out also

Question - I have a 98 model 25 horse 2 stroke merc, does anyone know if they have a restrictor plate which I can remove? Wouldn't mind the extra 5hp

Golden advice which I will keep in mind when I think about another smaller estuary / river boat.
