1 box bream

If u could only take 1 box fishing with you for the day and 1 rod and reel with one spool what would u take ? Keep in mind the box can only contain 10 hard lures and 5 diff sorts of plastics

Include colours depths ect.

You just described how I do 95% of my fishing

One rod ... one reel and a small tray of lures....

Gen Black Pinster II
Daiwa Caldia 2506H 8lb Braid 6lb FC leader

5 x Cranka Crank Deeps (Black Flame, Toffee apple, Beer bottle, Glass Ayu, Olive Prawn)
1 x Cranka Crab (spotted crab)
1 x ZX35 Blades (416)
1 x VX45 Blades (439)
2 x Strike pro micro vibe (JU015TL & 154RG)

Plastics:
zman motor oil
orbea63 grubs (dockland viper/green machine/river craw)
next one eyeball tails
Marukyu Isome

If I'm going structure/docks I grab the pinster ... If I'm going to the river or more open areas I take a 1-3kg abu velocity. Lip grips and a tea towel and I'm good to go

Interesting to think about. Have had this debate on the boat many times:

ROD: Megabass Destroyer Lycaon
REEL: Steez 2004
LINE: Varivas Milky PE0.6
LEADER: Yamatoyo 6lb (just in case there are racks involved) or 4lb

HARDS:
Ecogear MW62F in 328 and 393
Nories Laydown in BR6 and BR14
Ecogear CX35 in 537 and 535
Ecogear ZX30 in 420 and 413
Ecogear PX45F in 391 and 381

SOFTS:
Bream Prawn 40 - Pink and Green
Bream Prawn 50 - Pink and Green
Marukyu Crab Small - Green and Brown

Any bream you can't catch on that - doesn't exist (or you're in OMAN).

Sorry - misspoken. I think of them as big and small but yeah, the medium one.

That's a good question! But I reckon you've gotta be versatile enough for anytime of year.

I'm basing it on gear that I've owned only so it's not all going to be 100% effective and I'd sure like to change a few bits and pieces.

Reel: Rarenium 2500
Rod: Samurai 201
6lb braid, 6lb leader

Lures: Atomic deep crank (Ghost Green Shad)
Atomic mid crank (Ghost Brown Shad)
Cranka shallow crank (BBQ Prawn)
Cranka deep minnow (Salmon Guts)
Pontoon 21 Crackjack deep (Carmen Red)
Sebile Splasher 52 (Natural Prawn)
Berkley Scumdog (Hooch)
Cranka Vibe (Wicked Prawn)
TT Switchblade 1/8oz (Golden Boy)
Cranka Crab light (Olive Crab)

Zman 2.5inch Grubs (Watermelon)
Zman Steakz 4" (Motoroil)
Gulp Minnow 3" (Pumpkinseed)
Squidgy Fish 70 (Black Gold)
Gulp Crabby 2.5" (Camo)

In listing those lures it would also depend on what I was targeting and where. Usually 1 pack of 2.5" zman grubs is enough plastics for me to take anywhere, plastics list above is overboard for me.

Very interesting to see the difference in people's one box approach and the versatility in lures being mentioned very good

I like your choice of plastics Dave

So do I

Hoping to give the grubs more of a workout. At the moment at the docks lots of little pickers about ... only managing to pick the odd one up and then its only on worm patterns with #8 stingers.... kind of frustrating. Going night fishing tonight though so going to give the UV river craw a run for its money
