RCS Spool upgrade/change

Have seen it stated that the RCS spools fit all same sized Real Four Daiwa reels but just wanted to check this.

I have the older white Caldia 2506 and wondered whether there was any reason to not grab a RCS 2508 spool for inshore snapper and jewie fishing.
