2" - 3" bream on lures

Does anyone regulary catch 2" - 3" bream on lures in a session ?

It seems like they get more aggressive as they get bigger/older.

I have found that Bream that size only follow a lure and sometimes nibble, but never open wide enough to get hooked!

I did catch a Snapper about 4 inches long on a green single tail a couple of weeks ago!

Cheers!

I caught a 5 cm baitfish (hardy head I think these ones are called) on an empty size 10 longshank hook if that counts?

Sorry just wasting time here, but ya know that pic with chriss lemess with the small bream. Back in the fishingwa forum he was saying how they must have caught hundreds of fish that size if I remember correctly. So I guess the little ones could be aggro when they want to

That's pretty much all I got last time I was on Conjola Jim, I had the lady with me and we did some comfortable trolling - we also got a couple of Jackets, along the rocks opposite 'The Steps'

There's bigger stuff up the creek but

Small bream are a pain.

The first dau of the Albany comp, Chris and I caught around 30+ fish. Of all these only 9 were worth measuring.

See 'Happy Birthday Chris' to see the size we were getting.

suffered the same fate today, cept i was using softs.

headed out for some casting practise at moonee ponds creek. on the retrieve it was constant...tap, tap, tap. when the plastic came into view there were approx 6 - 10 tiny bream hitting the tail. they couldnt have been bigger than 3 inches.

i hung the soft in front of them and they just kept hitting it....why cant the bigger guys do that

but the were small squire of about 3 to inches , they were just following and everynow and again would hit the lure aout of curiosity so i keeped cating there just to see if they would keep doing it and i think that u learn a bit from watchng the small fish hitting the lure.
