What does Twinpower "Mg" stand for?

Hey guys

Just been looking at older reels and came across the Twinpower Mg.

Can anybody tell me what the "Mg" means?

Periodic table Manno... Think back to high school.

Shimano have some funny denoations on their reels... Fi, FG, fe, FJ, FG, f all of which mean zip, zero, nada! Other than model series.

I can't get Daiwas reel sizeings, total mind blow situation!

The F stands for front drag. I think years ago rear drag reels were popular. They still make a rear drag Sedona R-something... I actually caught my first mulloway on a rear drag reel. I remember the drag was pretty horrible compared to today's reels.
