They are great

I have caught everything from flatties, comp fished for bream and a lot caught small tuna on my 3000 black hawk, and am yet to find any issues with it. Mine is 4 months old and has 4lb bream FC ROCK on it.

I got it with a black hawk rod too, sweet setup...couldnt be happier, for a bunch less than other brands with serious style included!

I have given them a spin, they're a little noisy from the shop however should / do quieten down and with proper servicing should smoothen up a little like most reels do.

I have heard that they arent as corrosion resistant as other reels on the market either however this is a condition caused by the user. Should look after your stuff before it gets to the corroding stage anyway!

I'd give them go, however I am in love with my Stradic's... Just a bond that cant be broken easily!
