Hurricane Smacking Gippy Lakes :)

Hurricane SMACKING !!!! Gippy Lakes

Few pics guys. Went for quick Fish today.

Searching New Areas in the Gippy Lakes as we have Vic Bream Classic Torny Comming up Soon Etc.

Anyway Put a bit of a Bag Together etc.
Couple 40cms Mr Blue Nose Breambos.
Bag weight estimate for Best 5 around 4kgs

One location the SWITCH 66 was working well. Method that worked today was Cast Wait few seconds. Few fast quick twitches moving SWITCH 66 about 1 metre fast. Then Stop. As the SWITCH 66 Paused SMACK !!!! They ate it.

Next Location TWITCH 40 in Swallow water. Cast it Then TWITCH TWITCH without hardly moving TWITCH 40 forward. So Basically just get the TWITCH 40 to 180 180 180 180 Fast with out moving it forward as much as possible then Pause SMACK !!!!! They where on

So I needed to mix up the retrieves to suit different areas. So Guys don't be scared to try mixing it up. Sometimes its a Slow Roll, Sometimes its a Twitch Pause, sometimes its few quick rips, some times it just sitting the lure there etc etc , Treat everyday different mix it up to you see what makes them react to SMACK !!!! that Lure.

Standout Lures Today.

TWITCH 40 Wizard Color Pattern

SWITCH 66 Cobra Color Pattern

hey mate. id share some words of support but another well know lure importer that likes to lurk and rubbish every one thinks that any comments from people out side your team is just "sucking up for sponsorship" even though I fish for any other well respected lure company already and in the process of scaling down. so this is me officially not sucking up and not saying well done to your great results buddy.

TWICTH 40 sinks in fresh, suspends in brackish, slow float in full salt

Hope that helps

I've designed the weight to be how I like to use this type of hardbody.

It will 180 on the spot with slight TWITCH of the rod hence the name. best casting 40mm minnow style lure in Oz IMO

Mods, like most people in WA we all know who you are referring to (like you I will not name names, if the hat fits then wear it) and yes he is a laughing stock over here, and Nordy I found your service with switch 66's second to none, and find them to be an excellent lure, keep up the good work mate.

maybe you and nordy should get a room....

the aussie way is the copy the crap out of everything....

but , not everyone can afford $25 lures...every lure has a place for someone ans i would say that Nordys attitude to his customers is likely better than anyone elses ....

im still waiting on my 300 stickers to wrap my hobie tho....
