2012 Luvias 2004 (not available)

Hi Crew,

Sorry for another post.

Trying to buy a 2012 Daiwa Luvias 2004. Originally looking at getting it from Japan.

Does not seem to be any stock. In fact there appears to be very limited stock here in Australia.

Is the Australian 2012 Luvias the same as the Japanese model, other than price??

Cheers

Rob

They are the same, just drop your preferred online store an email, they will get you one. There are a few high gears getting around aswell if that helps at all...

I am looking at ordering from Plat. Their correspondence lately has been VERY SLOW. Taking days to get back to me regarding availability of rods and reels.

I was looking at 2004H, but I tend to wind too fast now, so thought the lower ratio would be better.

Big difference in price from Japan seller and Oz stores

I was looking at getting a bearing kit for the Luvias........... Roller, handle, drag. Probably better just to get the bloody Certate. The weight and body material in the Luvias and look is a influence for me though.

Cheers

Rob

Just buy the reel mate.... you don't need to add extra bearings either. Waste of time a money. Like Luke said pretty sure digitaka have them in stock. Possibly Japan angler to.

Digitaka says out of stock. Same with Japan Angler and Plat............

Sent all 3 an email yesterday, still no reply. Unusual, they are usually very good with communication. Maybe they are waiting to hear from supplier/daiwa

Just a quick plug for Adam at Fishin.com.au

Awesome service and VERY fast communication

Thanks mate!!

Cheers

Rob

Scottmc, I tried to reply to your message, but says your mail box is full! Thanks for the offer, but prefer lower ratio!

Shole01, I will just book my return ticket to Tokyo (Actually I would dearly love to, always wanted to travel there )

Digitaka confirm out of stock. Always my luck.

Thank you all for your help, I appreciate it.

Cheers

Rob

Would prefer the 2004. I appreciate not a lot in it, but I would prefer a reel in between the 1000 - 2500 size.

I wonder if a new model is coming out Surely we would have heard something by now

First world problem, I know. At the end of the day, I pay the Oz price if I want one, or buy a different reel.

I can get the 2013 Certate for $10 more than a Luvias in Oz or $60 less from Japan. But it weighs more etc............

As others have said, too much choice now days.

Cheers

Rob
