Hey Aaron,

I've owned a wild cat for a bit over 2 years now. I love the the rig and it ticks all the boxes for me. It does porpose at times, but nothing that a bit of negative trim can't fix. It rides really well through chop, even nasty chop like Glenbawn dam in a blow or a 20knt breeze pushing against the current....I've run down ski boats and bass boats when they've struggled through the slop - the v shaped hull at the front really helps this.

I hit 65kph top speed 1 up in glassed out conditions, but most commonly around 60-62kph 1 up or 58-60 2 up in good conditions. thats with an 4 stroke 60hp mercury....when it works.

I can comfortably fish 3 up in my boat or have enough room for myself and a team mate/non boater with a truck load of gear!

Ive had my Wildcat about 18 months. I like the layout and the features that make it a great little sportsfishing platform but dont quite get the performance out of it that Dion mentioned. Ive got a 60 4 stroke Yammy and it runs like a dream (and hasnt been in to be repaired) but I get about 55km @ 5500rpm fully loaded 2 up

I wonder what the difference is?

Are you running a SS prop or standard prop?

I can get it a smidge over 6000rpm with a heap of trim...so it may be a prop difference.

I have had one for about 15 months now, got about 90 hrs on a 4 stroke 60hp yammie. Top speed is 60km hour but with the 2 kids and the missus gets about 55km hour.
The hull is very stable and the ride is ok without being incredible , I take mine off shore on calm days and in the bay all the time but it really shines in the freshwater/estuary scenario. I find you have to play with the trim a little depending on conditions, to get the best ride.
They are built really strong, ( way stronger than the big brands ) with attention to detail.
Some things to consider if you use an anchor, get Bluefin to put in an aluminium anchor box under the front hatch, bow roller and cleat as they don't have them standard.
Overall very happy with the boat.

And Foster, I got alloy prop and get 6000 rpm trimmed out half way out in glassed out conditions and 60 km hr max. Most conditions see me trimmed all the way in to 3 bars out and 5400-5500 rpm at 54-55 km hr.

As a passenger, my honest description would be a 'wet' ride in any sort of chop... Nice boat and good stable platform to fish off.

Nice one Azz, looks good.
Something you may consider is replacing the screws that hold the console down to the floor with the next gauge up, as they are only in the wood in the floor and can work free after a while. Only do the ones at the sides as the front ones go into the metal structure under the floor and they will be ok. I put a bit of marine varnish in the holes first also.
