Pagani Siglett hook failing to set

I've recently grabbed myself a couple of Sigletts and gave them their first swim today. They evidently attract the fish as I had countless strikes and a hook up but nothing stuck. I must be doing something wrong here?!

Hey,

Your not alone, the hook up rate can suck. Maybe try a different hook style? Single instead of a treble or maybe a zx styled assist hook?

I use them for bass and don't seem to have a problem with hookups . Maybe if you're chasing bream with them use some zx style stinger hooks , I've changed some of mine over to stingers

Are singles really better then trebles for hook up rate ? Have a few lures with singles which i havent used much. Wil give it a go.

Add an extra split ring or two to the hook hangers. It gets the trebble slightly further away from the body of the lure and the sigletts have the boyancy so it doesnt effect them.
