Stradic ci4+ 1000 - spare spools not avail yet

FYI
I just got off the phone with Shimano Fishing Australia .... I have been advised there are no spare spools in Australia yet for the Stradic ci4+ 1000 reels (not sure about other sizes)
Shimano say they dont even have the schematics for these reels , nor an estimated price on the spare spools.
I asked if any other spools from their range would fit the Stradic ci4+ 1000. "None" was the answer
No ETA on availability.

I bought a couple of the original Ci4's when they first came out and had the same issue.
It took around 6 months before spare spools were available back then.
I just tried an original Ci4 spool on a Ci4+ and it didn't fit.

Who'd you speak to???

Check this link.

I love Shimano reels - but HATE Shimano Australia (Service quality and ineptness at their jobs!)...

I have a ci4+ 1000 but want a shallow spool for it.
Don't spose anyone would know, as they aren't out here yet, but hopefully the ci4 + 1000fml spool will fit on.
Has anyone tried the old ci4 1000fml spool on a normal ci4 1000?
Does it work?, same spool just shallower?
Noticed the drag is lower too.
Anyone know why?

Just tried my biomaster 1000FB spool on my stradic ci4 + 1000 today and it fits perfectly. No need for the spare spool no, tho it still isn't a shallow

Speaking about spools, does anyone know which other spools will fit a sustain FG 1000 or 2500? e.g. older style sustain spools (those for sale in moustachetackle) or other current models in the Shimano range.

My Stella spool fits my Ci4+ so it appears the spool off any reel with the plastic drag clicker will fit.

My Stradic FJ's and Stella have them, so most current models in between these at least.
To be sure you could look up the schematic diagrams on the Shimano site.

So im still looking for a spare spool for my Stradic CI4+ 1000 FA.
Not out yet, but got in contact with a bloke who supplies the spare spool for the Stradic CI4+ 1000FML in USA.
He tried the CI4+ 1000FML spool on a CI4+1000FA and it does not fit.
So anyone know when they expect to be out?
All the others are available already what's the deal?
