Bloop Bloop...Buggy Pop

Gday all.

I just picked up a River2Sea Buggy Pop in Black. I want to use this for some night fishing on the Lane Cove river.

Should I target Mangrove areas only, or can I fish it in channels as well.

I plan to use a slow retrieve with a couple of jerks here and there and many pauses. I havent used this type of hardbody before, so any advice would be appreciated.

I have found that holding the rod up high and a slow constant retrieve works wonders......i use them over weed beds, over rocks and as you said, best of all, under mangroves....bream love them with numerous strikes before hookup....sometimes
