Reel for Samurai 201?

Hey guys,

Im thinking of matching my 201 with a luvias 2004. Was interested to know how a light reel would match?

what have you guys matched yours to? cheers

I have a 2500 Stradic on my 203, balances very nicely (260g).

hey bud, i got a 2508 steez on my 201, love it for surface bass!

I use Steez 2004's and Luvias 2000's on my 201's and 203's, they balance nicely.

I had a 2000 Luvias DA on mine, but I think most of the lighter finesse 2000/2500 size reels will suit well. (steez, Luvias, Ci4 etc).

For my combo. I have Luvi 2506H match with Samurai 201. Cast all day with it...very comfortable.

I switch between a DA 2000 and a Fuego 1000 on my 203. Enjoy both but pick up the 1000 first. Regards, HBt.

2508 Steez' on my 201s also! I think they balance really well.

2004 Steez/2004 Certate finesse on my 101s and a 2000 Certate on the 203

Cheers guys, sounds like the rod matches well with a lot of reels. Probably stick with the original plan.
