The 3000 only weights 290g which is little heavier than Caldia and 4000 weights 400g.

I have a 4000 on a 4-7kg lox. Have only caught a few striped tuna on it so far but absolutely love it.
Taking it to the Abrolhos Islands in September where I'm sure it'll get a good test ![]() Cheers, Matt |

The sol 3000 type ONE I own is light as, lighter than Shimano equivalent (Stradic 4000). Can't see the type IIs being heavier... but you never know.

I have the 4000 Sol 2 on a samaki Vamp 2. Loaded with 40lb braid, it’s awesome for chasing mackerel and reef fish. Definitely don’t notice the 400g weight.
Surprisingly heavier than the Sustain FG at 304g. |
