OE Vibes

hey guys, seen these just before, I was wondering how they go on bream and perch? I was thinking 5 for $20 you can't go wrong. At $13 a piece they must be something half decent? has anyone actually ever used them with success and how well do they swim/vibrate in comparison to the better vibes like TT's and vx's?

Worth a crack I reckon
Beats losing 5 vibes at 15 each a session!

They look a lot like a VX so they have to be worth a try.

i got some a while ago they are shaped exactly like the vx the only down side is that they small treble hooks on them i have caught some bream on the small vibe they have there and the medium sized one in the gold is good for casting over shallow sand banks-mud flats as ive ended up with flathead whiting and the ocasinal bream, get some to try but get them in the colours you like

For the money you are laughing. I grabbed a bunch a while ago when they had a similar sale, but I tend to use the proven models first. They don't have a split r snap at the tow point so keep that in mind

This is but a small taste of what i do when they are on these sales..

The newer OE ( blue packaging ) are alot better than other older green packeging models that were available .

The new ( blue packaged ) ones have lure clips and much better hardware..

Worst case if you run out of the colors you do like .. Then send them off to Geneo Kustoms for some colors that you do like !!

Mate that was a few years ago. But at the price they are, it allows you to throw them where you would normally not dare ...

Been a while since I bought them , but when I did ... I bought up !!!

Thought I'd finish off the thread for any viewers in the future. I took some to Bemm river, they worked great, accounted for some great bream to 40cm. They vibrate great, never really tangle (only occasionally but all vibes do that!). Best size would have to be the 4.2g ones and the natural colours worked best. I ended up grabbing a heap more Even the hooks held up well to a nice dusky, all though I do think the split rings are too big and can cause some problems like tangling.

This are awesome little blades, not only are they great snag testers, but also pretty good at catching fish. I caught my first trout on a blade using one of these. They are pretty good, and easily cutomisable if you're handy with a airbrush or even some nail polish. Chucked some Decoys on them instead of the hooks they have, which do a fine job anyways, but get annoying because of the split ring size.

My favourite colours are the goldish colours, which also work a treat on local bream to around 40cm. Also caught salmon in the surf at Killarney

Also I will add!!! take note!!! The vibes that are good quality are 'Tidal' brand in the blue packaging, not the green outdoor expedition branded ones. The olive/gold colour worked great for me

Check our the Brag section. They plain and simple have to work, and only advantage of a dearer lure would be its colour. Their action is very straight forward.
